ATTRACTIONS AND LOCATIONS

↞NAVIGATION

The Hi-RiZe
At the heart of the park sits a ferris wheel, towering over the rest of the grounds and tall enough to be seen from any outdoor location. It only runs for eight hours per day, sitting like a still monument for the other sixteen. There are thirty-one cabins total attached to the ring, and unlike your usual ferris wheel cars these function as park housing for player characters. The gyro-scopic design of the attachment apparatus ensures that those within the cabin experience little-to-no unsteadiness or rocking, which is an ideal quality to have given the ride's purpose is to provide a safe resting area.

The cabins provide fifty-six square feet of living space, and are equipped with a twin-sized bed and a desk with an office chair. Despite the relatively flat surface the interior of the cabins possess, the office chairs still tend to roll about on occasion. To combat this, they have been attached to the desk itself with a chain long enough to allow the chair to be pulled out enough to give its occupant leg room. This is also to dissuade any possible attempts of theft. Beneath the bed sits a storage locker that runs the length of the frame above it, designed to keep the occupant's belongings safe. Each locker has its own combination that may be changed at the owner's discretion.

The intercom system within the cabin itself is rarely used, though on occasion one might be able to hear the quiet, crackling sounds of a familiar voice calling out to them from the speakers in the midst of their sleep. Once noticed, the sound fades away into nothing once more.

The cabins are airtight and sealed to prevent any rain or snow from dripping inside, and the windows are tinted to allow privacy and to provide a semblance of respite for the ever-setting sun. During curfew hours, the wheel will begin a slow rotation to allow park guests to file in and retire to their own respective cabins. After three full rotations, the doors will close once more, locking the occupant inside and preventing any who missed the boarding time from accessing their quarters. It will then increase to a speed of twenty MPH, which it will maintain for exactly eight hours before it slows down once more and the doors unlock and open. There are another three grace rotations allowed for the occupants to disembark, after which the wheel grinds to a dead stop and any who remained within their cabins are left suspended in the air wherever their respective cars stopped. The doors do not close, so they are free to attempt to get to the ground by either climbing or any other methods at their disposal. Each cabin is numbered on the outside, and the day of the month determines which cabin remains at the bottom of the wheel during the day-dock period of time. For example, if one's assigned cabin was car number 04, on the fourth day of the month they would be able to freely come and go from their cabin, as it would remain docked until the curfew procedure resumed. This serves as an in-game mechanic to allow players to keep track of the passage of time.

Park Gates
South of the Hi-RiZe sits the path that leads down to the park gates. Beyond the turnstiles sits the parking lot outside of the park grounds, though not a single vehicle can be seen on the asphalt. This probably isn't helped by the fact that approximately twenty feet into the lot sits an impenetrable wall of fog that is impossible to see past. Riding attractions that lift one high enough reveals that this mist barrier actually extends all around the circumference of the park, encasing it in a protective layer of sorts.

The turnstiles only rotate to allow entrance to the park, and there are no exits. However, it is possible to climb over them and exit into the parking lot. Upon entering the mist, one's vision goes completely black and it is impossible to see anything at all. For those who are already visually impaired, the world seems to go silent aside from a soft, rhythmic singing of unidentifiable words. The scent of ozone permeates the air, and moving feels as if you are struggling to swim through a layer of gelatin. The skin tingles with an electric charge, causing the hairs of the arms and the back of the neck to prickle and stand on end, accompanied by a layer of goosebumps on the skin.

After wandering for what feels like hours, the character will "wake up" within the gates of the park once more, looking out past the turnstiles into the parking lot. They will find that only six minutes have passed since they entered the fog, and for the next sixty seconds there is a persistent feeling of water in the lungs that will not disperse or come up no matter how much the character coughs and chokes. After the minute passes they feel no worse for wear, however subsequent visits into the mist will cause the drowning sensation to persist for an extra sixty seconds, stacking each time they are ejected back into the park. There is currently no way to reduce this time.

From a different perspective, if Character A witnesses Character B enter the mist, once the six minutes are up they will find that Character B has seemingly appeared either behind them or in their blind-spot.

Facing the park, to the right of the gate sits the Guest Services building. Zenaida can usually be found here, and will distribute park maps and pamphlets upon request. She is also in charge of renting out wagons, strollers, and inner tubes for the water park (currently closed for maintenance.) Complaints may also be lodged here, though guest feedback is not likely to change how the Entity runs its park.

From the outside looking in, the words AMUZE ★ MENT AVENUE are plastered across the gates in huge, blocky letters. Beneath this is the tagline, We don't make dreams. We make dreams better. Once upon a time these letters probably lit up, though they don't seem to work any longer.

E-Z Arcade
A large building that sits between the park gates and the Kidz Zone, the flashing neon lights outside the doors announce just what lies within. There are fifty game cabinets held inside the building, and they range anywhere from classic retro arcade games to specially branded park creations. Playing any game is free, and each park guest is awarded ten tickets regardless of their final score.

Tickets can be exchanged at the prize counter for one of two options; standard arcade toys and candies can be redeemed at various ticket prices. Alternatively, five tickets can be traded in for one Park Token. Tokens are the accepted currency of the park, and can be used to purchase drinks and food from the various concessions stands littered across the grounds.
Kidz Zone To the west of the Hi-RiZe sits the area known as the Kidz Zone. While not exclusively for children, the slower and more mellow rides can be found here. (Note: Clicking the names of the rides below will link to a video or an image of the ride it's based on)

The Carefree Carouzelle: Your standard carousel attraction, fitted with an automated band organ that plays through various songs as the ride spins. The infectious atmosphere leaves park guests with a sense of lasting cheer... Literally. Riders will find that any fears or worries they had prior to riding will melt away the moment the gears begin to move, almost as if by magic. This sense of all-consuming euphoria persists until an hour has passed since the rider disembarked, and observers will notice that those exiting the Carouzelle emerge with worryingly-dilated eyes that accompany a too-wide grin that seems to stretch the mouth to almost painful degrees.

Twizted Tea-Cupz: Spinning is optional, though once the rider begins to turn their tea cup it's almost as if they don't wish to stop. The speed becomes addicting, and those who give in to the temptation will find that they are able to spin their cups much faster than is safe or recommended. After disembarking, these adrenaline junkies will find that the dizzy feeling persists for roughly half an hour, and during this time they may feel confused and disoriented.

Bounzing Bumper-carz: Bumper cars... With a twist! These cars are equipped with a special feature that activates on impact, causing the colliding vehicles to rocket and ricochet around the arena with reckless abandon. Think pinball, except you're riding around in the pinball and getting whiplash the whole time. There are no lasting effects from this ride... Other than getting incredibly bruised up, of course.

Zky High: A ride that travels in a slow circle and allows the rider to control their altitude with a lever on the center console. While seemingly harmless from the get-go, upon activation it almost seems like the colorful animals and mascots are... A bit too real for comfort. On occasion the control lever ceases to work, and the car will violently jostle up and down at its own volition. Hold on tight!

Rain Dropz: A 430ft drop tower. This ride is prone to malfunctioning, and often gets stuck at the top for random intervals, sometimes for up to an hour at a time. You never know when it feels ready to drop, so it's best to prepare for the long haul!

It'z Quite The Large World: Definitely not based on another, branded attraction. A cheerfully themed indoor boat ride, various animatronic creations bounce about and sing an annoyingly catchy tune about how large the world is beyond the park gates... At least until the halfway point. After which the sound abruptly cuts off and the entire ride is plunged into uncomfortable silence. The animatronics continue to move about... Though not in the same cheerful fashion as before. Their bodies will remain eerily still, following the riders with their heads as they silently watch the boats pass. Occasionally, it seems as if the more lifelike ones are mouthing something along the lines of... "Help us?" Though that certainly can't be correct, as this is a land of laughter and cheer! So much laughter and cheer, in fact, that this ride seems to take two full hours to complete from start to finish, despite those on the outside inisting you were only gone for ten minutes. We are unsure why or how such a large ride is able to fit within such a compact building by comparison, but according to Frugil this ride is working as intended.

Jr. Coazter: This is basically just a kid's roller coaster. That's it. Nothing special.

Zpin Cycle: A rotating gondola ride with two long row cars for side by side seating. Each row spins as the ride makes a full rotation, and there are water jets below the ride that shoot upwards to splash the riders. Due to recent maintenance, however, the jets have since been upgraded to a more powerful, pressure-washing like stream. Luckily, they are also angled to provide the maximum waterboarding experience. Fun for the whole family!

TwiZter: A spinning ride that has several arms that hold rotating cars. There doesn't seem to be any adverse effects to riding this one! ...Or at least none that can be seen.

Garfield's Nightmare: We don't know why this ride is here.
Cirque Illume
The sight of the striped, bi-colored circus tent makes a daunting visage against the blood orange backdrop of the ever-setting sun, second only to the looming form of the Hi-RiZe. Each day brings a total of two performances; one in the "morning" and the other in the "evening", six hours apart. Twisted approximations of unrecognizeable creatures dance to the tune of a blaring speaker system, vying for a place at center stage while high above them featureless humanoid shapes writhe painfully through the air in a grotesque trapeze act. Massive hulking shapes balance precariously on comically small beach balls, fire displays scorch dangerously close to the cloth of the tent itself, and muffled pleading can be heard from the faceless shades strapped down to a spinning wheel covered in knives.

At the center of it all stands the Ringmaster; Corax Veritas, dealer of damnation. Best to follow the rules, lest you find yourself his next unwilling volunteer.
Prize Alley
North of the Kidz Zone lies the biggest concentration of food and game stalls, each ran by a separate Mask. The game stalls have a variety of different activities from which characters may win Park Tokens and generic stuffed animals. These range from - but may not always be limited to:

★ Skeeball

★ Whack-a-Raccoon

★ Ring Toss

★ Test of Strength

★ Plinko

★ Darts

★ Dunk Tank

★ Hoops

★ Bottle Stand

★ Fishing

★ Plate Break

Similarly, the list of foods served at the park's food stalls may be found here
Zephyr Park
A lush, green field housing several picnic benches and barbecue grills. A popular spot to enjoy a meal or two.
Weigh Anchorz
A small boathouse with a dock where park guests can rent swanboats and kayaks. There is a sign posted beside it that very clearly reads, "NO SWIMMING! THERE IS ONLY DEATH".
Raging Rapidz Water Park
Currently closed for maintenance. While the mist covers the bulk of the attractions, the shower stalls are left untouched, allowing for guests to indulge in basic hygiene. Each shower stall is always fully stocked with soap regardless of how much the previous user utilized.
First Aid Station
Located near the park gates and open at any hour aside from curfew periods. If injured, Zenaida may be pulled away from her desk to treat any wounds gained from park exploration.
Show-TuneZ Stadium
A large wooden stage fit with a speaker system. Park guests may choose to perform karaoke routines here, or merely listen to the instrumental stylings of the Masks manning the instruments provided. A small stand at the front of the stage contains a pad of paper and a box to enter in music requests; regardless of the song's place of origin, the porcelain performers seem to be able to render it flawlessly.
